The first account I noticed being compromised was Discord. Someone apparently accessed my Discord session and sent crypto-related spam/messages using my account. I then changed my passwords and took steps to secure my accounts.

Today, however, I discovered that my Reddit account had also been compromised. Someone appears to have posted something from my account without my permission. I had not actively used Reddit for more than 12 hours before discovering this.

I checked Reddit's account activity and found several sessions from different countries/devices, including Windows/Chrome sessions from the US, Russia, Türkiye and the UK. I have now logged out all Reddit sessions and changed my password.

My question is:

Could a Reddit authentication session/token stolen by an infostealer last for more than a week and still be usable today?

In other words, is it plausible that the Reddit session was stolen when my PC was infected last week and the attacker only used it today, or would this more likely mean that something on my PC is still compromised and stole a new session today?

I'm trying to understand whether this is simply a delayed use of a previously stolen session or evidence that the malware is still active.

Some context on why it exists. I got into meal prepping for myself and my girlfriend about half a year ago. I started with an excel spreadsheet, tabs for portioning my foods and hers, tracking, my own recipes. It got tedious maybe half a month in, so I said screw it and tried making an app instead. Everything in PREP is something I use weekly or daily myself.

Worth knowing before you try it. PREP is built around food you cook yourself, so it works best once you have added your own foods and recipes. The food library is curated rather than enormous, there is no photo recognition, and no browsable collection of ready made recipes.
