Aside from that magazine cover where she slanders Peter in Spider-Man: No Way Home, she is never mentioned again. The story just moves on with MJ, and that’s about it.
It would be nice to see Liz return in the new trilogy as a villain or something. Remember, she doesn’t remember Peter, but she still remembers Spider-Man and that he sent her dad to jail, so...

Movies ELI5: how does Tom’s Spider-Man go from public enemy #1 to everyone’s hero following NWH?

Let me get this straight…
So everyone hates Spider-Man because he “murders” Mysterio, the latest world “savior” following FFH.
Jameson reveals Peter Parker is Spider-Man. So everyone hates Peter and harasses all of the closest people in Peter’s life.
Peter uses Dr. Strange’s multi-verse magic to make everyone forget that he is Spider-Man. So no one hates Peter anymore and his friends get relief from the public.
But they still hate Spider-Man, right? He was still last known to have “murdered” Mysterio even if he stopped a bunch of other baddies terrorizing the city (despite him being the reason why they came to be in the first place).
Folks like Jameson ought to be having a field day with all of this. Wherever Spider-Man goes he brings trouble. He killed another hero and used unsanctioned magic which brought about more destruction. The public shouldn’t have forgotten these details because it wasn’t part of the spell Peter used to reverse his known identity.
So how is it Spider-Man is receiving the key to the city?
Or am I mistaken?
