Name My Cat - male
Please help me name my cat. He had a severely damaged/infected eye removed. Don't really like odin,one eyed Willy, Popeye or any of the usual one eyed cat names.
He is both chill and full of energy. He had a rough start and was picked up by animal control and taken to the emergency vet because of his eyes, fleas and being very underweight . One eye had to be removed. He is all healed up, neutered, completely vetted and living his best life now. He just needs a name.

During my life so far I've had well over 10 cats. Those that have passed meant the world to me and those that are alive are keeping me alive, minus having to take allergy meds and an inhaler. They're just so awesome. 🥹
He looks like my Wolfie(she was a stray and my mother kept trying me to "stop feeding that woolfy looking thing and stop letting it in the house!" I wouldn't had obeyed that at 15, what made her think I would in my 50s?) I bet he's as sweet too🐈⬛
Rather than name him to do with his missing eye, how about naming him to do with his personality? His personality and character is more relevant than a missing eye, especially since it clearly doesn’t stop him from being awesome.
I’d choose a name that has a subtle/obscure reference to his eye while also referencing his tabby stripes,
Cy-press (Cypress): "Cy" is a hidden nod to Cyclops, plus the bark of a cypress tree has deep, swirled ridges like a striped tabby. Marbles: The swirled tabby pattern, plus a "marble" is a slang term for an eyeball. Eclipse: This shows the two orbs of the sun/moon becoming one orb, plus night/day results in shadows like tabby stripes.
Pirate
we were going to name my mom and dad's dog bandit because he actually has a black mask on but daylight pirate better so I thought I what the hell who cares so LOL Pirate sounds darn cute he certainly is a personality as well and your cat is beautiful
Growing up, we had a cat who had an eye shot out by a neighborhood kid. His name was Fred, & he was just as awesome w/ 1 good eye as he was w/ 2. Your kitty will be fine, too. ❤️
